As we had never sold a house before we made sure that we did our due diligence checks and researched the top performing agents in our area. Once we had shortlisted our top three, we asked them to come around so we could listen to their sales strategies, especially in this unprecedented market surrounding COVID 19; ie: financial pressures and very limited international and interstate buyers. All the agents we enlisted presented very detailed and impressive sales strategies, and their knowledge and passion for selling real estate were hard to fault which made our decision on whom to go with all that more difficult. In the end, and after going through all the pros and cons of each agent, we chose Tim Wolff and Tracey Fisher from LJ Hooker Pacific Pines for the following reasons: they are a no nonsense team who exude confidence; their knowledge of the local market was excellent; they'd recently sold a house very similar to ours for an excellent price; and their marketing plan and commission rate sealed the deal for us. Tim and Tracey's strategy to market our property was excellent, and the proof of that was evident after our first open home. We had over twenty groups through on our first open for inspection and by the end of that day we had an asking price offer on the table. By the end of the second open for inspection we were in a multiple offer situation. Tim's negotiation skills then came into play, and he ended up getting us a price that exceeded the highest sale in our part of the suburb. Even though Tim had secured us a great price, he didn't stop there and kept working with us all the way through to settlement. Tim and Tracey told us at the start of our journey that selling your home is one of the most stressful things you can do, but with their guidance and help along the way made it a fairly smooth journey for which we are truly grateful.
